How can I fix dimming screen issue on my MacBook Pro?
I keep getting this issue on my new MacBook. Had it reset. Had the screen changed by Apple, but apparently the issue persists...
Chap GPT says it is happening to other and Apple may issue a fix, but if they don't then Chat suggest to change PC… here is the answer by Chat… do you know a way to have the issue fixed apart from reset and change screen or return the new MacBook?

It appears that the display dimming issue you're experiencing is not isolated, as other users with the MacBook Pro 14-inch (2024) have reported similar problems, even after hardware replacements and software resets. This issue may be related to the ambient light sensor, macOS bugs, or thermal management features causing the display to dim when the device overheats, as highlighted in Apple's support documentation.
If the issue persists despite service interventions and resets, and considering that Apple hasn't officially acknowledged a universal fix, returning the device might be a reasonable option, especially if it disrupts your work. You could also monitor Apple's support forums or updates, as Apple may release a software update addressing this widespread issue.
Ultimately, if the problem significantly affects your user experience and productivity, exploring other brands with more stable display performance might be worth considering.
